Overview
Tottenham Hotspur FC, commonly called Tottenham or Spurs, represents one of London football's most prestigious institutions. Founded in 1882, the North London club has a glorious history marked by domestic and European titles. The Spurs play at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium since 2019, an ultra-modern 62,000-capacity venue considered one of the world's finest stadiums, replacing the legendary White Hart Lane.
Tottenham's trophy cabinet shines with two English league championships, eight FA Cups, and notably two UEFA/Europa League Cups. The club made history in 1963 by becoming the first British club to win a major European competition. The 1960s constitute the golden age with the legendary double championship-FA Cup in 1961. More recently, Tottenham reached the Champions League final in 2019, confirming their status as a major club.
Tottenham embody attacking and spectacular football with a tradition of prolific strikers. The club possess an excellent training center that produced legends like Harry Kane. The Lilywhites (White and Blue) maintain the North London Derby against Arsenal, one of world football's greatest rivalries dividing North London for over a century. The objective is to win a first title since 2008 and establish themselves among the European elite.
