Clube Futebol Estrela da Amadora, commonly called Estrela da Amadora or simply Estrela, is a Portuguese club based in Amadora, a Lisbon suburb city. Founded in 1932, the club has experienced several prosperous periods in Portuguese football, establishing themselves as a competitive force in the capital region.
Traditionally playing at Estádio José Gomes before temporarily moving to Estádio Nacional, the Tricolores (referencing three kit colors) wear red, green, and white. These colors represent the suburban club's popular identity and create distinctive visual appearance in Portuguese football.
Estrela evolved in Primeira Liga several times and even participated in European competitions. The club marked history by reaching a Portuguese Cup final, imposing themselves against Portuguese football giants and demonstrating their competitive spirit against bigger clubs.
