FC Red Bull Salzburg, commonly called RB Salzburg or simply Salzburg, is modern Austrian football's most dominant club. Founded in 1933 as SV Austria Salzburg, the club was taken over by Red Bull in 2005, marking the beginning of an era of unprecedented dominance.
