Leeds United head coach Jesse Marsch admits the club are yet to decide whether Chelsea transfer target Raphinha will travel on the club’s pre-season tour of Australia.

The Brazilian has been the subject of an accepted £55m offer from Stamford Bridge, although Standard Sport understands he would prefer to join Barcelona.

They, however, are yet to make a suitable offer amid yet more financial problems at the Camp Nou.

Arsenal have not yet given hope of signing the 25-year-old, with a decision on his future expected imminently.

Leeds have also sold Kalvin Phillips to Manchester City this summer but continue to add to their squad, having announced the arrival of Colombian international winger Luis Sinisterra from Feyenoord on Thursday.

When asked about Raphinha’s situation ahead of the trip to Australia, Marsch said (via The Athletic): “My guess is, I don’t know. We just have to wait and see what happens in the next couple of days.

“There’s urgency from his end, I think, to come up with a solution. We have to in the next couple of days see how things stand and see how we go.

“It hasn’t been an easy time for him this summer. Things have come and gone and there have been a lot of little discussions. Right now he’s our player.

“He showed up today and trained with everybody, he had such a good attitude. We had a very open and honest conversation about while he’s here he’s part of us, and then we’ll see what happens. It’s still a long way to go in the transfer window.
