Newcastle United welcomed Bournemouth at St. James’ Park earlier today as they looked to secure a victory in front of their home fans. The Magpies made a dominant start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at half-time.

Phillip Billing finally opened the goal-scoring for the visitors in the 62nd minute. However, Newcastle responded positively by scoring the equaliser via Alexander Isak’s penalty just five minutes later. The contest ended with Eddie Howe’s men being held to a 1-1 draw at Tyneside.

Let’s take a look at how each Newcastle United player fared during the match against the Cherries.

RB: Kieran Trippier – 7/10

The English talent created two good chances in the final third and was unfortunate to hit the post.
