Mikel Arteta sends stern warning to Premier League rivals after £120m summer transfer spree

As Arsenal begins the new Premier League campaign tomorrow night, Mikel Arteta promises to lead Arsenal to the next level.
After his team lost a top-four spot to fierce rivals Spurs in the final week of the previous season, Arteta is aware that only Champions League qualification will do.
But following a £120 million summer shopping binge that included Gabriel Jesus and Oleksandr Zinchenko, he is sure that Arsenal are on the right track.
“I am certain that we are ready to get to a different level,” Arteta remarked before the match against Crystal Palace. What the teams who placed ahead of us are doing is clear.
“Some of them have still recruited six or seven players, even though they already had considerably stronger squads than we did.
Therefore, since we cannot accomplish everything at once, all we can do is concentrate on what we can accomplish. It won’t become any easier for us.
“But we are certain that we can pull it off, and we are all excited for the upcoming season.

“We had the successful preseason we hoped for, but now the action shifts to a totally different situation against a Premier League foe.
We’re playing with a level of vigor and drive that reflects our desire to have a great season, and we must now demonstrate it on the field versus Palace.
You can see that we are pretty active with incomings and outgoings, and Arteta also intimated that he hasn’t finished his summer spending yet.
“The transfer window is lengthy, and a lot has already occurred. All options are still open even though some players will need to leave.
The Premier League clubs have done fantastic business, demonstrating how competitive the upcoming season will be.
Arsenal have reportedly moved a great deal closer to being title contenders, according to Palace manager Patrick Vieira.
He stated: “Compared to last year, they are in a better position. You can tell how much stronger the players they add to the team are by looking at them.
“They have the team to compete and get much closer to winning the championship. Compared to last season, the game will be entirely different.
