Everton welcomed West Ham United at Goodison Park earlier today as they hoped to secure a victory in front of their home fans. The Toffees made a decent start to the game but could only manage to get into the half-time interval with a 0-0 scoreline.
Neal Maupay broke the deadlock just eight minutes into the second half with a decent finish. The Merseyside club sat on their lead well and earned a hard-fought 1-0 win at home.
Let’s take a look at how each Everton player performed during the match against the Hammers.

He worked hard defensively and had a few lively moments on the attacking end of the pitch. Iwobi picked up an assist for setting up Maupay’s goal.
RW: Demarai Gray – 7/10
Gray caused a few problems for the opposition defenders but there was no goal for him today.
ST: Neal Maupay – 7.5/10
He scored the only goal of the game with a good finish in the 53rd minute.
