Everton welcomed West Ham United at Goodison Park earlier today as they hoped to secure a victory in front of their home fans. The Toffees made a decent start to the game but could only manage to get into the half-time interval with a 0-0 scoreline.

Neal Maupay broke the deadlock just eight minutes into the second half with a decent finish. The Merseyside club sat on their lead well and earned a hard-fought 1-0 win at home.

Let’s take a look at how each Everton player performed during the match against the Hammers.

The experienced goalie made a few solid saves at the back and secured an important clean sheet at Goodison Park today.

RB: Nathan Patterson – 7/10

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field and made a couple of decent runs with the ball.

CB: Conor Coady – 7/10

Coady earned the ball back a few times and didn’t hesitate to clear the danger when needed.

CB: James Tarkowski – 7.5/10

The English centre-back made numerous clearances inside his half and did enough to keep the West Ham attackers frustrated throughout the 90 minutes.
