Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta looks set to have a near fully fit squad to choose from for Saturday’s clash with Manchester United after three injury doubts took part in full training on Friday.
The Gunners are enjoying a strong return to form, winning five of their last six Premier League matches – though they were dealt a double injury blow last time out against Southampton.
Both Thomas Partey and Emile Smith Rowe had to be subbed off in the second half of Tuesday’s 3-1 victory on the south coast and were considered big doubts to face United
The Ghanaian midfielder in particular has struggled with injury since moving to north London from Atletico Madrid over the summer, with Arteta saying he had suffered more ‘discomfort’ against Southampton.

But Partey took part in full first-team training on Friday – the final session before Saturday’s clash with United – and looked fit and sharp
To add to the good news for Arsenal, Smith Rowe was also spotted in training and appears to have shaken off the problem he picked up against Southampton, which Arteta felt was only minor.

In a third injury boost for Arsenal, left-back Kieran Tierney – who missed both the FA Cup and league meetings with Southampton – made a return to full training, having stepped up his recovery this week.
While that trio are all in contention to start against United, one player who was missing from the training pictures was skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang
The 31-year-old has missed Arsenal’s last two matches due to his mother’s illness and his spell out of action looks set to continue on Saturday having yet to link back up with the squad.
January recruit Martin Odegaard was involved in Friday’s session and is in line to make the bench against United, having been given some animated one-on-one instructions from Arteta, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles also took part in training despite reportedly being on the verge of a loan move away from the Emirates.
