£60 million rated midfielder sends message to Arsenal

And after the Gunners lost out to Aston Villa in the race to prise Emiliano Buedia away from Norwich, and then saw Dani Ceballos also leave the club and head back to the Bernabeu, the club have been eyeing up a number of possible signings, and Maddison is one of those players.

He has developed into one of the very best midfielders in the Premier League, and although he was hampered by injuries last season, he is still a player that has a lot of ability and creativity in that midfield.

And amid the speculation that the Gunners are keen on a transfer deal, fans have taken to Twitter to voice their excitement at the possible signing of Maddison.

If the Gunners are willing to pay that £60 million asking price, he would be a very good signing for the Gunners
